Livemic Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Livemic application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. License to Use

Barnard Media grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on compatible devices.

3. App Permissions

3.1 Microphone Access

The App requires microphone access to function. By using the App, you grant permission to access your device's microphone for real-time audio transmission. We do not record or store any audio data.

3.2 Bluetooth Access

The App requires Bluetooth access to connect to external speakers. You grant permission to manage Bluetooth connections when using the App.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
  • Use the App in a way that could damage or impair its functionality
  • Redistribute or sell the App or any part of it

5. Technical Requirements

To use the App, you need:

  • A compatible mobile device
  • A working microphone
  • Bluetooth capability
  • Compatible Bluetooth speakers

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • All Bluetooth devices will be compatible
  • Audio quality will meet your requirements

7. Limitation of Liability

Barnard Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.

8. Changes to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time without notice.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
